In an amazing feat of athleticism,  double-leg amputee Jared Brentz followed up his 360 yard drive to win the two-leg below the knee championship by cruising by five other open division qualifiers with a drive of 352 yards to claim the ParaLong Drive World Title.

One-leg competitor Tim Herman placed second with a drive of 322 yards. Complete listing of all division winners are listed below.

When the dust settled after a long day of competition, 20 brave men and women won individual ParaLong Drive World Championships. They competed in one arm or leg to Paramobile Division championship. The paramobile competitors amazed the audience in their ‘Standup and play’ motorized chairs.

“I had an idea,” said Anthony Netto, winner of the Two-Leg Paramobile Division. “There was nothing out there to help us play golf. I came up with the design and the engineer’s took it from there. It needed to be a medical device, so that’s what we did. The chair is F.D.A. improved. There is now 400 devices world-wide with two in Mesquite, thanks to the Eureka Hotel and Casino Resort through their ‘Wounded Warrior’ program.”
