The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) has now extended the hours for commercial vehicles to pass on I-15 northbound from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Commercial vehicles weighing over 26,000 GVW are prohibited from passing I-15 northbound outside the hours of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. and are required to detour onto northbound U.S. 93 followed by State Route 319.

Currently both north and southbound traffic is going through the northbound lanes from milepost 91-93.

Commercial vehicles making local deliveries may pass through but must first obtain permits from NDOT. Weather permitting, NDOT anticipates to fully open all lanes going north and southbound on I-15 between Glendale and Moapa with no restrictions on Sunday, Sept. 21.
