The Nevada Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities (NGCDD) in collaboration with the City of Mesquite Department of Athletics & Leisure Services will be hosting a Disability Awareness and Resource Fair, also known as a P.A.C.E. Event (Partnering for Awareness and Community Education) on Friday September 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mesquite Senior Center located at 100 W Old Mill Road.
Friday’s event will be an excellent opportunity for community members to connect with local organizations committed to serving and supporting those with disabilities. Valley Pediatric Dental and Silver State Housing Council will be sharing information on a variety of topics. Mesa View Hospice and Homecare Services and the American Red Cross will also be in attendance. The event will include workshops, speakers, resource tables, snacks, and a Blood Drive by the American Red Cross.
