Wolf Creek Golf Club announces the addition of new general manager, PGA Class A member, Darren Stanek. Stanek brings more than 17 years of golf management experience to the award-winning par-72 course located in Mesquite.
“We are thrilled to have someone with Darren’s extensive experience, knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport of golf join our team,” said Cory Clemetson, co-owner of Wolf Creek Golf Club. “His golf expertise, leadership and professionalism will be a great asset to Wolf Creek and the entire golf industry here in Mesquite and throughout southern Nevada.”
Stanek comes from the Arnold Palmer Golf Management company and most recently served as general manager at Harbor Links Golf Course in Port Washington, NY. In addition to being a PGA Class A member he received the 2013 PGA Merchandiser of the Year award in the metropolitan section which covers the greater New York area. Stanek also earned the 2004 Head Professional of the Year (Billy Casper Golf) and the 2003 Top Facility of the Year (Billy Casper Golf). He was awarded All-American honors at Florida Southern College where he received his bachelor of science in marketing.
Stanek now oversees all aspects of the course including oversight of golf operations, food and beverage, accounting, sales and marketing and golf course maintenance.
