Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 59 calls this week:

May 13:

Falls: Rescue 11 dispatched to a report of a patient who had fallen and is not responding. Additional personal requested for patient in cardiac arrest; transported to a local hospital.

Heart problem:  Rescue 11 and 31 dispatched to a report of a person possibly having heart problems. Patient was transported to a local hospital.

MVA with Injury: Rescue 11 and Battalion 3 responded to Northbound I-15 mm 120 for a vehicle accident. Accident was actually in Arizona at mm 20 and Mesquite units cancelled.

Falls: Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 responded to a fall. One patient transported to the local hospital.

Patient Transport: Rescue 31 transported a patient from the local hospital to a facility in the Las Vegas area.

Fire Alarm: Rescue 11 was at a local restaurant when the fire alarm began sounding. Alarm malfunction and referred to company maintenance.

Sick Person:  Rescue 32 responded to elbow pain. Patient did not wish to be transported to hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to transport a patient from the local hospital to a St George area hospital.

May 14:

Headache:  Rescue 11 responded to an automatic mutual aid request in Arizona for a headache. One patient transported by Beaver Dam Fire.

Stroke (CVA):  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a possible stroke patient. One patient transported to St. George area hospital.

Unconscious:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to an unconscious person. Reported patient answered the door and advised there was no problem.

Abdominal Pain:  Rescue 11 responded to abdominal pain; transported one patient to the local hospital.

Trauma:  Rescue 11 responded to report of a traumatic injury. One patient transported to local hospital.

Fire:  Engine 31 responded for a report of a structure fire as mutual aid for Littlefield Fire Department.

May 15:

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to local hospital for a patient transport. Rescue 31 transported one to a local Las Vegas hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to report of a sick person. One person transported to local hospital.

Hemorrhage:  Rescue 11 responded to a call for a sick person. Rescue 11 transported one person to a local area hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 32 responded to a call for a fall. Person refused transport.

May 16:

Sick Person:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a call for a sick person. One transported to the local hospital.

Heart Problem:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a person with heart problems. Person refused transport to the local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 11 was dispatched to a CCT Intrafacility transport to a local hospital in St. George. Rescue 11 was cancelled by local hospital staff.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded for a reported sick person. Patient transport to local hospital.

Psychiatric:  Rescue 11 was dispatch to a person having psychiatric problems. Rescue 11 cancelled by MPD.

Falls:  Rescue 33 responded to person involved in a fall. One refused transport to the local hospital.

Diabetic:  Rescue 31 responded to a person with a diabetic problem. One transported to the local hospital.

Diabetic:  Rescue 31 responded to person having a diabetic problem. One refused transport to the local hospital.

May 17:

Patient Transport:  Rescue 32 responded to local hospital for an inter-facility transport. One patient transported to a Las Vegas area hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 dispatched to a call for an inter facility transport for a Legal 2000. Hospital cancelled transport.

Falls:  Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a report of a person falling. One patient with an altered level of consciousness was transported to a local hospital.

Hemorrhage:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a call for hemorrhaging. Rescue 11 transported one person to a local Utah Hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 31 responded to a patient complaining of a traumatic injury. Patient transported to local hospital.

Allergies/Sting:  Rescue 11 responded to a victim of a scorpion bite. Male subject denied transport to the hospital.

Patient Transport:  Station 3 dispatched for a Critical Care Paramedic interfacility transport from hospital. Request for interfacility transport then cancelled by hospital.

Unconscious:  Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of an unconscious person. One patient transported to local hospital.

Overdose:  Rescues 31 and 32 dispatched for a possible intentional overdose. One patient transported to local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 11 responded to a report of a person falling needing assistance getting up; assisted person.

May 18:

Sick Person:  Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of a sick person. One patient was transported to local hospital.

Agency Assist:  Rescue 11 and Engine 31 dispatched to a report of a two vehicle motor vehicle collision. One occupant denied injuries and one refused transport to hospital. Vehicle secured by Engine 11.

Falls:  Rescue 11 responded to a report of an intoxicated patient that fell and struck head. Patient transported to local hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded to care facility for a sick person. One pt transported to local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Station 3 dispatched to local hospital for inter facility transport, cancelled by hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to local hospital for an inter facility transport to Las Vegas area hospital.

Patient Transport:  Station 3 dispatched for interfacility transport, cancelled by hospital.

Suicidal Person:  Rescue 11 and 32 responded to a report of a suicidal person. Patient transported to local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 11 and 32 responded to a report of a patient that had fallen and could not get up. Patient transported to a local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to Mesa View Hospital for an ALS transfer to a Las Vegas hospital.

Odor Investigation:  Engine 31 and Rescue 11 responded to a local business for a report of odor investigation. No detectable gases or smoke present on scene.

MVA with Injury:  Rescue 32, Battalion 3 & Truck 11 responded to I-15 for a traffic accident involving a trapped passenger. Extrication of Patient performed. Patient transported to a local hospital.

Patient Transport:  Rescue 31 responded to Mesa View Hospital for a BLS transfer to a Vegas Hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded to residence for a sick person. Pt denied transport to hospital and signed AMA. Rescue 11 cleared scene and went available.

May 19:

MVA with Injury:  Rescue 11 responded to a report of a vehicle accident. No patients reported, scene secured, Rescue 11 cleared.

Falls:  Rescue 11 responded to report of a fall. Patient denied transport.

Abdominal Pain:  Rescue 31 responded to report of an individual with abdominal pain at a casino. One patient transported to local hospital.

Unknown Problem:  Rescue 31 responded to report of a sick person. One person transported to local hospital.

Falls:  Rescue 32 responded to report of a fall victim in a casino. Individual did not have any medical complaints. Individual was not requesting treatment or transport.

Special Event:  Rescue 12 conducted a medical standby for Mayhem in Mesquite MMA Tournament. One fighter transported to local hospital.

Convulsions:  Rescue 11 and 31 responded to a call for a male having seizures. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Sick Person:  Rescue 11 responded to assist Mesquite Police Department. Individual refused care and transport.
