Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 172 calls in the blotter this week:

May 13:

Disorderly conduct: Officers responded to a local casino for a report of a breach of peace. One adult female was arrested for breach of peace and trespassing.

Verbal disturbance: Responded to a noise complaint at Pulsipher Ln. residence. Subject contacted and issued a citation.

Phone harassment: Responded to report of phone harassment. One citation issued.

Traffic stop: Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. An adult female was arrested for multiple traffic violations.

Recovered stolen vehicle: Officer was advised that a vehicle which had been reported stolen out Mesquite had been recovered by NLVPD.

Custody issue: Spoke with parent regarding custody issues. Father was to return juvenile this morning however, he failed to do so. Advised to contact Family Courts and provided an incident.

Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: Officer completed a report regarding child custody.

Found Property: Officer responded to a report of found property. Small safe that had been damaged was recovered.

May 14:

Traffic accident W/O injury: Responded to a non-injury two car collision on a private roadway. Information was obtained and an Officers report created.

Fraud: Officer spoke with a citizen regarding fraud. Information obtained and incident created.

Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported, and a report was completed.

Theft from vehicle: Responded to a Mesa Blvd. casino regarding a theft from motor vehicle. Officer report completed.

May 15:

Traffic stop: Detectives arrested a male who had a no bail felony warrant out of Mesquite

Justice Court.

Agency assistance: Mesquite Officer responded to a local school reference a custodial issue.

Unknown problem: Responded to a 911 hang up at a Partridge Ln. residence.  One adult male was placed under arrest for Domestic Battery and drug related charges.

Fighting: Officers responded to a fight at a Riverside Dr. residence. Two males engaged in a physical altercation. Upon result of the investigation one of the males was arrested.

Agency assistance: Officers assisted department of US Marshalls locate and apprehend a fugitive from justice.

Suspicious person: An officer responded to the Mesquite Police Department to take a report of a possible theft.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a local government building on a report of a 2 vehicle accident with no injuries.

Suspicious person: Officer completed a report of a suspicious text message.

Civil dispute: Officer completed a report for a verbal dispute.

May 17:

Traffic stop: Officers conducted a stop for a traffic offense. One adult female was cited and released for smoking marijuana in a moving vehicle.

Trespassing: An officer responded to a casino reference a trespass violator.  Upon arrival, the officer located the male and issued him a citation for trespassing upon the request of the casino’s representative.

Wanted person: Officer conducted a traffic stop for a traffic offense. The driver had a warrant out of Mesquite Municipal Court and Bunkerville Justice Court. The driver was arrested for his warrants.

Fraud: Officer completed a fraud report.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer completed a report of a traffic accident with no injuries.

Trespassing: An officer responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino in reference to a trespass violation.

May 18:

DUI: Officers responded to the report of a traffic accident. One female adult was arrested for DUI.

Minor gambling: Officers responded to a casino reference an adult minor gambling.  Upon arrival, a casino representative requested to sign a citation against the minor for gambling.  The minor was issued a citation and released without further incident.

Welfare check: Officers responded to a Tex St. residence for a welfare check.

Phone harassment: Officer took a report of Harassment.

Citizen assist: Officer took a courtesy report for a local citizen who had been a victim of identity theft. The crime occurred in St George Utah and the female was advised to speak with that Police Department.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to an accident on Falcon Ridge PKWY. A report was taken and a citation was issued.

Recovered stolen vehicle: Officers responded to the report of a stolen vehicle from another state. Officers located the vehicle in a parking lot of a business. One adult male and one adult female were arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicle and drug paraphernalia.

May 19:

Suspicious person:  Officers were dispatched to a Mesquite Springs Dr. residence, in reference to a suspicious person.  An adult male subject was cited and released for breach of peace.

Controlled substance problem: Officer conducted a traffic stop for a minor traffic offence. At the conclusion of the investigation the driver was issued a citation for the marijuana and drug paraphernalia and released.

Controlled substance problem: Officers responded to a theft call at an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino. The suspect and his fiancé were charged with drug Offenses and petit larceny.

Theft from vehicle: Officer completed a theft from motor vehicle report.

Fraud: Officers responded to a business in reference to a fraud. The suspect was identified and the investigation is on-going.

Theft: Officers responded to a theft at a business. One female adult was arrested for petit larceny and resisting arrest.

Phone harassment: Officers responded to a harassment complaint at the Police Lobby. Both party’s were advised to stay away from each other and stop communicating with each other.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a hit and run traffic collision. The driver of one vehicle fled on foot. The investigation is on-going.
