Symphony Conductor, Dr. Selmer Spitzer
The Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra is rehearsing and preparing for their fourth and final concert of the 2014-2015 concert season. The concert will be held in the CasaBlanca Showroom on April 11 at 7 p.m. For this final concert of the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra successful first season, conductor, Dr. Selmer Spitzer, has programmed the concert “An Evening with the Pops” including the well-known arrangements of Andrew L. Webber’s Phantom of the Opera, John Williams’ Star Wars, and John Philip Sousa’s Washington Post March along with other well-known musical arrangements.
Tickets are available at Danielle’s Chocolates, Klasik Kloset, Mesquite Airport, Moapa Valley Progress newspaper office, online at www.mesquitegaming.com or in person at the CasaBlanca Resort front desk, and at the ticket box office the day of the concert. Tickets are $15 each.
