To the Editor:
When I moved into Mesquite in November 2013, I was warned to secure yard décor. Annually, high school seniors perform a prank of taking personal property. This year, our neighborhood was hit but no one laughed. Neighbors experienced broken items. There were concerns for those who are out of town not able to reclaim items plus concerns for those who were stolen from who are experiencing illness and loss who have to deal with a “prank”. For those who feel this prank is harmless, please submit your name and address for next year’s fun so you can be the target. This behavior has put a negative impression of Virgin Valley HS on this new resident.
