Planned work expected to cause brief service interruption for customers
ST. GEORGE, UTAH — TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS®) will perform planned network maintenance in the early morning hours of Thursday, Feb. 19, which will temporarily impact services for customers in Southern Utah (including St. George, Ivins, Hurricane, and Cedar City) and Mesquite, Nevada.
Work at the St. George central hub will take place between 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, and 5:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19. The actual service interruption is expected to last about two hours, beginning shortly after midnight.
During the outage, customers in this area may temporarily lose access to TDS internet, TV, and landline voice services. While service is unavailable, landline calling, including 911 calls, will not be available. Emergency calls made from mobile devices will continue to function normally.
TDS crews will complete crucial work to repair existing damage and support long-term network reliability. The work was scheduled for overnight to reduce impact
