Over the course of five decades, he played in various bands and brought joy to many through his performances. He also expressed himself through the written word—penning songs, poems, short stories, and even a book. His love for storytelling extended to the stage as well; he found great joy in theatre and acting in plays. Additionally, he will be remembered by his deep love for The Beatles and UCLA.
Denis is survived by former wife and closest friend, Susan, his children: sons Jamie and Matthew, and daughter Ashley (Matt), and grandson Kevin.
