Canada’s newest grievance acronym is  MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+.

This is not a joke. Canadians are serious “aboot” it.

Sherman Frederick

The acronym is so long it requires a legend — and even then, you’re not sure where it ends, and the next grievance begins.

MMIWG2SLGBTQQIA+ stands for nearly every modern identity conceit, plus a “+” for anything we have not thought of yet.

  • MMIWG: Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
  • 2S: Two-Spirit (an Indigenous-specific term for people embodying both masculine and feminine spirits, or gender-diverse roles in traditional cultures).
  • L: Lesbian.
  • G: Gay.
  • B: Bisexual.
  • T: Transgender (or Trans).
  • Q: Queer.
  • Q: Questioning.
  • I: Intersex.
  • A: Asexual.
  • +: Additional sexual and gender identities not explicitly listed (e.g., non-binary, pansexual, or other diverse identities).

Look, the American left even here in Nevada can be pretty strange. But, obviously, we got nuthin’ on Canada when it comes to inventing this level of nonsense.

Sadly, this kind of exaggeration is a way of modern life. Whether it’s Canada turning identity into an alphabet soup, or here in the United States, where “loyal opposition” has a knack for turning every political disagreement into the end of civilization as we know it.

Consider Nevada’s junior U.S. senator, Jacky Rosen, who said, President Trump’s threat to directly attack civilian infrastructure is beyond the pale. Should these words translate into action, this would violate the laws of war and be a dark moment in American history. What’s more, these strikes would do nothing to support the Iranian people or loosen the Islamic Republic’s grip on power.”

And Sen. Rosen is not alone in her hair-on-fire criticism.

Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) said that Trump’s impeachment has to be the Democratic Agenda. “We must proceed towards the goal of removing Donald Trump from office, and we must do this now.”

Democrats have also said that if they get back in power, they will prosecute anyone who carried out Trump’s orders as war criminals — from the lowliest private to the president.

War criminals? C’mon, man!

Imagine saying that in 1945, when American forces were leveling German cities and closing in on Berlin. Could we have won the war?

Somewhere along the line, the idea of a “loyal opposition” has turned into a reflex, and disagreement into an apocalypse.

Every decision is a war crime. Every strategy is treason. Every outcome is the end of the world.

In 1945, calling for the impeachment of FDR would have been absurd. In 2026, it’s just routine, stupid opposition.

That’s how I’m seeing it anyway. If you think I’m wrong about this, let me know.
