Liberal thinkers call it “shocking.” It’s anything but.

The “Make America Great Again” form of the GOP has turned the tide in the battle for the hearts and minds of work-a-day Americans, stealing from a Democratic Party that has morphed into a coastal elite bunch of gender-confused global progressives.
The latest proof of this can be seen in the Quinnipiac University poll that shows the GOP is now tied with Democrats on the question of who cares more about the needs of people.
In 1994, Democrats had a 19-point lead on that question. In 2005, they had a 23-point lead. In 2017, they had a 13-point lead.
Today, Republicans and Democrats are tied at 33%.
And within that number, the polling gets worse. For college graduates, the respondents were tied. But among non-college graduates, Democrats held a +7 lead in 2017. Today, it’s +9 for Republicans.
There’s no other way to look at these findings other than to conclude that the Trump revolution is winning the day among the working class.
CNN’s pollster, Harry Enten, told reporters last week “This to me is one of the most shocking pieces of poll data that I truly truthfully have seen this year or maybe in any prior year.”
After decades of proudly owning the “working man” vote, Democrats have gravitated toward weirdness as expressed in identity politics, gender ideology, and open borders.
SOLAR FAIL
The infatuation of the Barack Obama and Harry Reid years with solar energy has come back to prove itself unreasonable. The hideous Ivanpah Solar Electric Power Plant has officially failed. It will begin shutting operations in early 2026.
Lest we forget, this project burned $1.6 billion in federal loans, a $535 million grant, a $600 million tax credit along with massive investor write-offs paid for by US Taxpayers.
And what did taxpayers get for it?
Nothing.
ONE MORE THING
