With monsoon weather and fire season still affecting homeowners across Southern and Northern Nevada, disaster preparedness is a hot topic, as homeowners are at greater risk of their homes being damaged and then being scammed. Often, unscrupulous and unlicensed contractors come out of the woodwork following a natural disaster and inclement weather.
The Nevada State Contractors Board would like to address this issue with more community members, especially vulnerable residents such as seniors.
