Prior to 2010, Nevada had 3 Congressional Districts. As a result of the 2010 census, CD-4 was created due to population growth.
John Lee
The district is made up of rural counties in Southern Nevada and North Las Vegas. It has always leaned Democrat because the North Las Vegas piece of the district has 80% of the voters.
John Lee was elected Mayor of North Las Vegas in 2013. Using the same conservative principles that made him a successful businessman, he set out to turn the city around. John revitalized the city, promoted economic growth, and attracted major companies including Amazon, Evanesce, and Nuro to invest in the city, without imposing additional fees or taxes. As you drive south on interstate15, you can see the results of Mayor Lee’s efforts as you enter North Las Vegas. With results like these, he was very popular and was re-elected twice.
Recently, voters turned the Governorship red by electing Joe Lombardo. This happened because Joe Lombardo was a popular Sheriff in Las Vegas, and with support from the rural counties, he went on to win. We now have an opportunity to elect another popular person with huge name recognition in CD4 by advancing John Lee to run for our next Congressman.
The first rule of politics is, to quote Al Davis of the Oakland Raiders, “Just win, baby!” If we don’t win in politics, we can’t govern; and if we don’t govern, we suffer under governance that we don’t agree with. So, let’s put our personal agendas aside and support a candidate that will win. We certainly can use another conservative in Washington, D.C.
In the upcoming primary election on June 11th, we all need to get behind John Lee for CD4. Governor Lombardo has endorsed John and so has our own Cresent Hardy who held this office from 2014 to 2016.
My wife and I have lived in Mesquite for 11 years now and have been represented by a congressman whom we disagree with on almost every issue for 9 of those years. The problem is the bifurcated district of CD4. Most of the district area is rural and conservative, but the most populous portion in North Las Vegas is traditionally not. So, it seems to me that we either put up candidates that can win in North Las Vegas AND in our rural districts — or continue to elect Democrats.
Let’s send John Lee to Congress and turn CD-4 Red.

Mesquite

We’re with you Frank, our county, state and nation need common sense conservative approaches to law making, budgets and spending as well as our national security and support for our Law Enforcement and it all starts at home, in our back yard! Let’s get the people educated and converted!
Well this aged beautifully.
As it turns out, general election voters want a principled conservative.
John Lee underperformed Trump, Sam Peters, and Jim Marchant.
No one should ever take this moderate establishment hacks seriously ever again.
