College of Southern Nevada Mesquite Center is hosting a Nursing Assistant Program Open House. Join us on September 19th from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm for an informative event, learn more about the program, tour the Nursing Assistant Lab, meet the program instructor, and learn about tuition assistance opportunities. The 6-week short-term Nursing Assistant program begins October 23rd. This program prepares graduates to perform basic nursing and restorative care for patients involving safety, personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility, basic mental health, patient protections, and rights, observing the patient, and reporting to the nurse.
Completion of this program prepares students for the Nevada Certification Exam. Students must enroll in the following: NURS 130 Lecture – Mondays & Tuesdays 8:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., NURS 130 Lab Mondays & Tuesdays 12:30 p.m.- 4:15 p.m., and NURS 130 Clinical Wednesdays & Thursdays 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Enrollment space is very limited.
