There were 166 building permits issued by the city of Mesquite in November, with a total value of $5.8 million. This is a decrease from the same month in 2021, when the city issued 191 permits with a value at $10.2 million.

On a year-to-date basis, the city has issued 2,216 permits valued at $136 million, above the year-to-date total from 2021, which was 1,870 permits valued at $106.2 million.

As usual, single-family residences made up the bulk of the November permits, with 19 issued at a value of $3.9 million. This is a decrease from November of 2021, when there were 41 permits issued with a value of $8.2 million.

Pulte Homes of Nevada issued eight permits for single-family homes, followed by Warmington Apartment Communities and Richmond American Homes of Nevada with four each, one Beazer Homes, Maves Construction and Marlone Sosa with one each.

The most expensive single-family home construction permit was valued at $395,304 by Maves Construction, while the least expensive was by Richmond American, valued at $148,200.

There were no permits issued for multi-family residences in November, compared to two in November 2021 valued at $584,320.

There were two commercial buildings permitted in November valued at $1.3 million, compared to none in November 2021. There was one permit for commercial modifications in November, valued at $180, compared to four in November 2021, valued at $564,373.

The city issued one new business permits in November, compared to five in November 2021.

The city issued 11 permits for blocks walls in November, compared to 16 in November 2021. There were seven permits for swimming pools/spas in November, while there were five in November 2021.

There were no demolition permit filed in November, with none in November 2021. There were no grading permit in November, compared to one in November 2021.
