Feb. 27, 1880: Seven families were settling in Mesquite. By the end of May 1882 there were fifteen families and 71 people.

Feb. 28, 1868, Beaver Dam, AZ:  Henry W. Miller and Company abandon Beaver Dam.

March 1, 1996: Citizens of Mesquite say “No” to 90 foot tower (cell) in residential area.

March 3, 1943: Rock Library remodeled into hospital.  Dr. L. L. Gilbert and Bertha Howe, nurse, hired as staff.

March 3, 1921: F.B. Miskin fetched some ladies in from Mesquite, NV.  They had to be examined by the doctor before getting out of the car, on account of the prevalence of “flu” down the river.
