Feb. 2:
Special Event Detail: Officers conducted an off-highway vehicle patrol around Mesquite City limits.
Found Property: Officers located and a cellphone and booked it in safekeeping.
Property Damage, Non-Vandalism: Officer took a report of damage to property damage at a residence.
Miscellaneous CAD Call Record: An officer received a report of suspicious circumstances involving neighbors. An incident report was completed.
Feb. 3:
Trespassing: Officers responded to a casino reference a trespass incident. One adult female
was cited and released for trespassing.
Theft: Officer took a report of theft of property from a nonresident of Gypsy Boy Ln. Officer attempted to locate property at area pawn shops without success. Officer will contact suspect for questioning.
Driving Under the Influence: Officers conducted a traffic stop during a joining forces event on a vehicle for a speeding violation. After an investigation, the adult male driver was arrested for DUI.
Wanted Person: Officer contacted an individual knowing they had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. One female arrested and transported to Mesquite Detention Center.
Assault/Battery: Officer took a report of an assault that occurred at a golf course.
Hit & Run: Officer responded to a casino on a report of a hit and run. A report was completed.
Feb. 4:
Dead Body: Officers responded to a residence in reference to an agency assist. One adult male was found deceased inside his home.Trespassing: Officers responded to a residence reference a TPO violation. The male adult was located and arrested.Found Property: Officer responded to a report of a firearm being found in a mailbox. Officer noted that it was an Air Soft Pistol which was placed into property.Theft from Vehicle: Officer took a report of Theft from a motor vehicle.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. The male driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for DUI.
Feb. 5:
Theft: Officers took a report for a phone that was stolen from a local casino.
Lost Property: A detective responded to a residence reference a possible lost or stolen wallet
and keys.
Agency Assistance: Officers responded to assist Mesquite Fire department with an incident. A report
was taken.
Feb. 6:
Agency Assistance: Officer assisted another agency.
Traffic Stop: Officers arrested an adult male for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Feb. 7:
Trespassing: Officers responded to a casino on a call of a trespass. One male was cited and
released for trespass not amounting to burglary.
Civil Matter: Officers responded to a private property accident.
Traffic Stop: Police arrested an adult male for a warrant.
Missing Person: Officers took a report of a possible missing person. The male was located without issue.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic offense. The driver, an adult female subject, was cited and released for open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and two traffic offenses. The two passengers in the vehicle, both adult male subjects, were cited and released for open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop and observed signs of impairment. The female driver was issued a citation for minor in possession of marijuana.
Feb. 8:
Traffic Accident w/ Injuries: Officers responded to a side-by-side vehicle accident.
Property Damage, Non-Vandalism: Officer completed a property damage report.
Wanted Person: Officer arrested a female adult for an active warrant.
Trespassing: Officers responded to a casino in reference to a trespass violator. One male adult was arrested on an active warrant as well as trespassing.
Traffic Stop: An officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense. The driver, an adult male subject was taken into custody for trafficking of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), driving without a driver license, and no proof of insurance.
