Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. The Mesquite Fire Department received 61 calls this week.

Dec. 15:
Diabetic: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to a report of diabetic problems. One patient was
treated and refused transport to hospital. Patient singed out against medical advice.
Odor Investigation: Engine 11, Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 responded to a report of an Odor. On scene no emergency was found.
Dec. 16:
Accident: Engine 31 arrived on scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle. No injuries, Engine 31 stayed on scene for traffic control.
Sick Person: Rescue 11 and Battalion 3 responded on a sick person. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Dec. 17:
Convulsions: Rescue 31 responded on a person having convulsions. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded on a person with breathing difficulty. Patient transported to Mesa View Hospital.
Dec. 18:
Fire: Truck 11, Engine 31 and Chief 2 responded to the reports of a fire alarm. Upon investigation no smoke nor fire was present.
Fire Alarm: Station 1 was dispatched to a fire alarm. False alarm, station 1 was cancled.
Dec. 19:
MVA with Injury: Engine 31, rescue 31, and rescue 32 were dispatched out for a motor vehicle
crash. A car had rear-ended a semi-truck trailer, 2 patients were transported. 1
patient was transported to University Medical center in Las Vegas with chest pain. 1 Patient was transported to Mesa View Reginal hospital with back pain.
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to reports of a person having difficulty breathing. Rescue 11 with Rescue 32 treated and transported the
person to Mesa View Regional for further treatment and evaluation.
Dec. 20:
Hit & Run: Engine 11 and Rescue 11 responded to a report of a hit and run. A disabled
vehicle with mechanical problems was located. No other vehicles involved. No medical needed.
Vehicle Fire: Engine 31, Engine 11, Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded to a report of a vehicle
fire. The vehicle fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
Dec. 21:
Chest Pain: Rescues 31 and 32 responded to a report of chest pain. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
Psychiatric: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a Psychiatric Emergency. One patient was treated and transported to Mesa View Regional Hospital.
