Get into the spirit of this holiday season with Kris Kringle’s: The Gift of Christmas! Perfect for kids of all ages! There will be a cookie crafting and design workshop, gingerbread house competition, ornament decorating, face painting, storytelling with Mrs. Claus, selfies with Santa and a whole lot more! Grant Gunn and his guitar will close things out with a holiday themed acoustic mini-concert.

All manner of holiday sweets will be available in Kris’s Sweet Shop during the event along with an endless supply of hot chocolate. Cookie crafting participants will get to take home their freshly baked and boxed, made-from-scratch cookies along with the recipe! Prizes will be awarded for best decorated cookie, gingerbread house and ornament.

While the kids are enjoying all the festivities, we encourage parents of well-behaved older children to pop over to the Mesquite Fine Arts Center just down the street and check out their Lucky 13 and Christmas Boutique events happening now. The artistic creations of our very talented local artists on display make the perfect gifts for friends and family everywhere.

The event takes place at the Women’s History and Culture Center on December 21, 2019 from 9am to 3pm and is completely FREE and open to the general public.
