Many calls that the Police Department receives are not always included in the blotter, as they are under investigation or a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our PD does do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 163 calls this week:

Nov. 24:

Found Property: Officer responded to a report of found property on southbound I-15. Officer

collected the property which will be placed in storage until claimed by the rightful owner.

DUI: An officer responded to report of an intoxicated driver. The driver was located and arrested.

Nov. 25:

Found Person: Officer took a report of a found person from Mesquite. The adult female was

contacted by police in Las Vegas and reported she was fine and was currently residing there.

Theft: An officer gathered information on a burglary of a car wash that occurred the

night prior.

Verbal Disturbance: Officers responded to a residence reference a verbal dispute. One female adult claims she was hit by another female but refused to press any charges.

Recovered Stolen Vehicle: Officer took a report of a recovered vehicle stolen out of Texas.

Citizen Assist: Officer received a report of packages being taken from the doorstep after delivery.

Citizen Assist: Officers responded to a grocery store and took a report of lost purse. This investigation is still ongoing.

Lost Property: Officer took a report of a lost wallet at a local business.

Suspicious Person: Mesquite Police Department received a letter requesting an investigation be done at a local trailer park. A report was taken for the incident.

Domestic Violence: An officer responded to report of a domestic dispute. One male was arrested.

Lost Property: Officer took a lost property report from a citizen who lost their wallet. The citizen might of thought someone had turned it in. The Officer physically looked for the item and did not find it and gave the citizen a Police report number.

Nov. 26:

Trespassing: Officers responded to a casino reference an intoxicated female who had been

trespassed and would not leave property. The female was cited and released for trespassing.

Medical Emergency: Officers responded to a male who had fallen on the sidewalk. Upon arrival a

male fell while taking his dog for a walk. The male needed medical assistance. Mesquite Fire and Rescue were called and transported him to the local hospital.

Traffic Stop: Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. One male adult was arrested on a bench warrant.

Lost Property: Officer took a report of lost city property.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to a two vehicle accident. One female driver was issued a

citation.

Juvenile Problem: Officers responded to a juvenile problem. The reporting party stated his under

age son has been drinking alcohol and took off from their home. The Juvenile was located, cited and returned to his father.

Found Property: Officer booked a found cane into safe keeping.

Minor Gambling: Officers responded to a casino in reference to minor gambling. One adult minor female was cited and released for gambling underage.

Nov. 29:

Mental Person: Officers took a report for an intoxicated male who stated he was suicidal.

Theft from vehicle: Officers responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd.  parking lot reference a theft.

Animal complaint: Officers took a report of an animal problem.

Trespassing: Officers responded to a local casino, in reference to a trespass violator.  An

intoxicated adult male subject was taken into custody for trespassing and obstructing a public officer.

Nov. 30:

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to a traffic accident with injury. One female adult driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

Traffic Stop: Officers arrested an adult male on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance.

Trespassing: Officers responded to a local business for a report of individuals trespassing.

Traffic accident W/O injury: Officer responded to local business for a report of a hit and run.

Trespassing: Officers arrested a male adult for breach of peace and obstruction.
