The Mesquite-Toes Dance Troupe will be performing their 15th Annual Christmas Benefit Show to create scholarships for Valley Seniors. The show has been moved to the Hughes Middle School Auditorium at 550 Hafen Lane on Friday, December 13th at either 3:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. Advance tickets can be found at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery, Danielle’s Chocolate or from any Mesquite Toes member for $10 for adults or $5 for students/children. Tickets will also be on sale one hour prior to the show at the auditorium door–cash or check only.

The benefit show will feature the best of the past and present music of Christmas and will last about one hour. To start the show, a present day version of ‘Drummer Boy’ which is a tap number will be performed by the majority of the troupe. Our jazz team will follow with ‘Underneath the Tree’. Of course, the clog team has one of their numbers done to ‘Dig That Crazy Santa’. Many more of our troupe members will be performing during each show.

The show will feature additional performers including the Hughes Middle School Drill team for your enjoyment. Our favorite ballroom dancers, Marcia and John, will return with a number to ‘Three Kings’. Traveling from St. George will be the Sun River Western Dancers and the Sun River Jazz Dancers. Local singer/performer and former Troupe member, Jan King, will sing ‘One Star’.

The Mesquite-Toes Dance Troupe is looking forward to this new venue at Hughes Middle School Auditorium for this show. Anyone may join our group to enjoy the fun and camaraderie that brings us together. You may view website at www.MesquiteToesTapTeam.com for more information.
