A zombie apocalypse converged on CasaBlanca parking garage on Halloween night courtesy of Mesquite’s Police Department, Mesquite Gaming, local business owners and nonprofits.
During the night of ghouls and goblins, thousands flocked to the parking garage to collect their delicious candies, while the businesses and nonprofits displayed their creative Halloween trunks.
Three eerily designed trunks were awarded certificates: “Best Trunk” went to Laura Andrews, Owner of Chicago Greek and employee Teri Nehrenz.
“Scariest Trunk” was awarded to Mesquite Fire and Rescue and “Best Zombie” went to Bank of Nevada.
For 12 years MPD has appreciated the community’s help with this event to ensure the kids in the Virgin Valley all have a safe and happy Halloween; see you next year.
