Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 60 calls this week:

June 16:

Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of an unconscious victim.

Patient was treated but refused transport to hospital. Patient signed medical refusal form.

Falls: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a fall victim. Patient was assisted and refused transport to hospital.

June 17:

Heart Problem: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a report of a heart problem. One patient was transported to a local hospital.

Fire Alarm: Engine 31, Engine 11 and Rescue 31 responded to a general fire alarm at a local commercial building. On scene there was no smoke or fire found, and it was determined that there had been an accidental smoke detector activation. Fire alarm system was reset.

June 18:

Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to a report of Chest Pain. One patient was transported to a local hospital.

Hemorrhage: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a report of a hemorrhage. One patient was transported to a St George area hospital.

June 19:

Sick Person: Rescue 11 responded to a sick person. One person was transported to a St. George area hospital.

Brush Fire: Engines 11 and 31 as well as Rescue 31 and Battalion 3 responded to report of a brush fire. On arrival no smoke or fire was found.

June 20:

Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to a possible stroke. One patient was transported to the local hospital.

Heart Problem: Rescue 31 and Engine 31 responded to heart problems. One person was transported

to the local hospital.

June 21:

Chest Pain: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to report of chest pain. Patient was found in cardiac arrest.

Sick Person: Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a sick person. Patient refused treatment

and transport to local hospital.

June 22:

MVA with Injury: Engine 31, Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a single vehicle roll over. Car was stabilized and both patients refused treatment and transport

to local hospital.

Falls: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a fall victim. Patient was assisted to their feet.
