Caring for your loved one with memory loss can be lonely and frustrating.  At Memory Matters, they consider memory loss a “whole family” disease. Everyone involved is seriously affected, and they can help.

Through optimizing brain wellness, they educate everyone on the need to focus on brain health. Simultaneously, they continue to deliver award-winning memory care services to families living with cognitive impairment. Join them at the Mesquite Library today from 2-4 p.m.

Their caregiver programs are offered at no cost to you. Call Memory Matters at 843-842-6688 for more information.

Saturday is your lucky day, there’s plenty of entertainment at the Mesquite Community Theater and you’ll have two chances to see it; 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Greater Mesquite Arts Foundation is sponsoring a Variety Show that will have you singing in the seats, laughing until you cry, and seeing some brand-new talent.

You’ll marvel at some of the best hidden talent in Mesquite and be thoroughly entertained for a good cause; The Women’s History & Culture Center.

Tickets are completely tax deductible; extra donations are too as well as appreciated. There’s lots of fantastic raffle prizes; each with a minimum value of $100, come see what the local talent and businesses have to offer you. Tickets are available at the Mesquite Cancer Help Society (#35) and the Women’s History and Culture Center (#23), 150 N. Yucca St. or Danielle’s Chocolates, 1155 W. Pioneer Blvd. and the Mesquite Community Theatre 1 hour before each showtime.

Remember to send in those event notices, things are going to be happening that you’ll want folks to know about. Send them to terin.bbm@gmail.com so you can everyone know what’s happening with your group or club.
