Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 49 calls this week:

June 2:
Sick person: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to a possible sick person. On scene it was found to be a false alarm with no patient.
Unconscious: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of an unconscious person. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
June 3:
Breathing: Rescues 31 and 32 responded to a report of someone experiencing breathing problems. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
Fire Alarm: Rescue 11, Battalion 3, and Engine 31 responded to report of a smoke alarm activation. Smoke detectors were found to be faulty.
June 4:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and 32 responded to reports of a person having a possible stroke. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Cardiac Arrest: Rescue 31 responded to reports of a deceased person. The person was obviously deceased and did not receive medical treatment.
June 5:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and 32 responded to reports of an unconscious person. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and 32 responded to reports of a person having chest pain. The patient denied transport to the hospital and signed out Against Medical Advice (AMA).
June 6:
Heat/Cold: Rescue 11 responded to reports of a person having an environmental cold emergency. One patient was transported to a local hospital.
Fire Alarm: Engine 31, Battalion 3, and Rescue 11 responded to a fire alarm at Wolf Creek Golf Course Clubhouse. A fire alarm malfunction was found to be the cause of the alarm.
June 7:
Chest Pain: Rescue 31 and Rescue 32 responded for a person with chest pain. Patient transported to hospital.
Breathing: Rescue 31 responded to a reported person with difficulty breathing. One person transported to local hospital
June 8:
Breathing: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded for a person with breathing difficulty. Patient signed out against medical advice.
Convulsions: Rescue 32 and Battalion 3 responded for a child with seizures. Patient transported to hospital.
