Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 61 calls this week:

May 19:

Sick person: Rescue 31 responded to a report of a sick person. One patient transported to a local hospital.

Heart problem: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of a heart problem. One patient was

transported to a local hospital.

May 20:

Cardiac arrest: Rescues 31, 32 and Battalion 3 responded for a cardiac arrest. Aggressive resuscitation attempted, but attempts were unsuccessful, and patient was deceased at the scene.

Patient transport: Rescue 31 responded to a local hospital for a patient transport to a Henderson area hospital.

May 21:

Convulsions:  Rescues 11 and 31 responded to report of seizures. One patient was transported

to a local hospital.

Heart problem: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to report of a heart problem. Patient signed out against medical advice.

May 22:

Hemorrhage:  Rescues 31 and 32 responded to report of hemorrhage. Rescue 31 transported one

patient to a local hospital.

Pregnancy: Rescue 11 and 32 respond to a report of a person in labor. One patient transported to a St. George Hospital.

May 23:

Chest pain: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a person having chest pain. Patient was transported to local hospital.

Patient transport: Inter-facility transport. Call was canceled by dispatched and reassigned to Beaver Dam fire.

May 24:
Unconscious:
Rescue 31 responded to the reports of an unconscious victim. Person was treated

but refused transport to local hospital.

Convulsions:  Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to the reports of a person having convulsions. Person refused transport to local hospital.

May 25:

Vehicle fire: Engine 31 and Rescue 31 responded to a request for mutal aid from Clark County Fire Department on a vehicle fire on I-15. Fire was extinguished. No injuries reported.

Vehicle fire: Engine 11 and Rescue 11 responded to the report of a possible vehicle fire. Report was unfounded.
