Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 59 calls this week:

April 14:
MVA with injury: Rescue 11 and engine 31 called for a Motor Vehicle Accident with injuries at
Mesquite Blvd and Arrowhead. One person transported to a local hospital.
Hemorrhage: Rescue 31 called for a person complaining of bleeding hand secondary to ground level fall. The person refused transport to the local hospital.
April 15:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a person complaining of abdominal pain and
passing out. One person transported to a facility in St. George Utah.
Fire alarm: Engine 31 and Rescue 11 responded to a possible fire alarm at a Condo complex. No issues found upon arrival.
April 16:
Sick person: Rescue 11 responded to a reported sick person. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital.
Cardiac arrest: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of a cardiac arrest victim. Rescue 11 pronounced the person deceased on scene.
April 17:
Stroke (CVA): Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to a call for a patient having a Stroke. Rescue 11 transported 1 to a local hospital.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 responded to the reports of an unconscious person. One person was treated and transported to local hospital.
April 18:
Abdominal pain: Rescue 31 dispatched to the report of abdominal pain. One person was transported to the local hospital.
Breathing: Rescues 31 and 32 responded to a breathing problem. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
April 19:
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to the report of a person needing a lift assist. Rescue 11 assisted person off the floor and into bed.
Falls: Rescue 11 responded to the report of an elderly male needing a lift assist. Rescue 11 assisted elderly male off the floor and into bed.
April 20:
Diabetic: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of a diabetic problem. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
Convulsions: Rescues 11 and 32 responded to a report of someone having a seizure. One patient was transported to the local hospital.
