Eagles & Agriculture

Jan. 24-27, Carson Valley

Eagles & Agriculture is one of the most unusual events on any state’s calendar. Hundreds of visitors come to the Carson Valley each February for this unique opportunity to photograph the birds, tour the ranches, and gape in wonder as bald eagles congregate in the meadows eagerly awaiting for the afterbirth of new born or still born calves. But instead of being merely gruesome it’s a pageant of life in the natural world up close. Enjoy the Falconers Dinner on Friday and the Ranch & Eagle tour Saturday and Sunday. Website:
