Some calls that Mesquite Fire and Rescue receives are not always included in the report, as a synopsis is not received. To show the amount of work our Fire and Rescue workers do, we are including a weekly roster of stats. There were 66 calls this week:

Dec. 6:
MVA with injury: Engine 31, Rescue 31, and Rescue 11 responded to a report of a 3 vehicle collision on I-15. On arrival, no injuries were reported. The scene was stabilized and left in care of NHP (Nevada Highway Patrol).
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Engine 31 responded to the report of a unconscious person. Rescue 11 transported patient to the local hospital.
Dec. 7:
Patient transport: Rescue 31 responded to a local hospital for an interfacility patient transport.
While at the hospital the transport was cancelled.
Falls: Rescue 31 responded to a report of someone falling. No injury was reported; provided assistance only to the individual.
Dec. 8:
Fire Alarm: Engine 31 responded to smoke alarm activation. No smoke or fire were found. The activation was found to be due to a faulty smoke detector.
Allergies/Sting: Rescue 11 responded to a report of a scorpion sting. Patient refused transport to the hospital and signed out against medical advice.
Dec. 9:
Convulsions: Rescue 11 and Rescue 32 responded to report of an individual who had a seizure. Rescue 11 transported one patient to a local hospital.
Dec. 10:
Fire: Rescue 31 Responded to the Area behind Casablanca due to large colum of smoke coming from that area; person burning weeds fire under control
Unknown problem: Rescue 31 and Rescue 11 responded to reported man down on mile marker 110 as requested by Clark County Fire. Cancelled prior to arrival
Dec. 11:
Allergies/Sting: Rescue 32 responded to a reported person having an allergic reaction. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Sick person: Rescue 12 responded to a reported sick person. One patient was transported to local hospital.
Dec. 12:
Unconscious: Rescue 11 responded to a call for a unconscious person. One person transported to the local hospital in St. Gorge, Utah.
Unconscious: Rescue 11 and Rescue 12 responded to a call for an unconscious person. One person transported to the local hospital in Mesquite.
