Jeanne D. Salerno, 92, passed away in Mesquite, NV on December 25, 2018.
Jeanne was born on December 19, 1926 in Fayetteville, NY to Paul R. Dennington and Irene G. Houseman.
A very friendly and engaging woman, Jeanne loved people, and could create a lasting friendship with anyone in minutes. Jeanne was passionate about serving others, and volunteered often while living in Tully, NY, Tooele, UT, and Mesquite, NV. In 2015, she was honored as the Volunteer of the Year by the Salvation Army in Mesquite. She was an excellent cook, and ran a catering business in northern New Jersey for several years. Jeanne’s favorite thing in the world was dancing.
Jeanne is survived by her four children; Paul (Barbara) Benedict, Melynda (David) Petrie, Coburn Salerno, and David (Tamara) Salerno, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her cat Onyx, her family at BeeHive Homes Assisted Living in Mesquite who provided her with wonderful loving care, and friends wherever she went.
