On Friday, December 14, the Rotary Clubs in the area presented 4 Buddy Benches at each of the Elementary schools (Mesquite, Bunkerville, Moapa, and Logandale).

The Buddy Benches were a combined effort on the parts of both the Mesquite Sunrise Rotary and the Mesquite Rotary noon clubs. Keith Buchhalter, noon Rotary member, said, “We are very excited to share this with our communities as this is our first joint project. “

The first presentation will took place at the Virgin Valley Elementary School, followed by a second presentation at JL Bowler Elementary in Bunkerville. The third presentation was at at Ute Perkins in Moapa and the last presentation was at Grant Bowler Elementary in Logandale, NV.

Deb Parsley wrote, “What a great morning, spending it with our Rotarians of southern Nevada: Moapa, the Noon club and our Morning club. We presented to the grade schools the BUDDY BENCH. What a great way to put our fundraising dollars back into the community. The kids were so happy!!”
