Richard Lyman Marshall, age 88, died Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in St. George, Utah.  He was born September 22, 1930 to Herbert Arthur and Lynda Ada Marshall in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.  On March 28, 1952 he married Shirley Ruth Houze in the Crafton Christian Church in Crafton, Pennsylvania.

Richard was a graduate of Slippery Rock College and the University of Pittsburgh.  He worked at Pittsburgh Des Moines Steel Company for 25 years, becoming the western division manager.  Richard was a gifted vocalist, enjoyed remodeling and building projects, and especially enjoyed his golf outings.   He often used his talents to help his family, especially his children and grand children. Everyone loved to be around Richard because of his great personality.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Marge Uber and Jean Masson.  Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Shirley, his children: Jim Marshall (Melba) of Hoover, AL; Alan Marshall (Barb) of Mineral, VA; Stephen Marshall (Terry) of Mapleton, UT; John Marshall (Lynn) of Mesquite, NV; Tina Hazel of Payson, UT and Sherry Kelley (Marlin) of Payson, UT; 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

Memorial Services were held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road, Mesquite, Nevada.
