June 24:
Hit & Run: Responded to a hit & run at a local casino. Vehicle one was GOA. Information on V-2 and owner was obtained. It appeared that V-1 had struck the right rear bumper of V-2 causing minor damage (scuff). No further information available.
Lost property: An officer responded to a Bannock St. residence in reference to a lost purse.
Theft: Officers responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business in reference to a theft, one adult male and one adult female were cited for petit larceny.
Verbal disturbance: Officers were dispatched for a local residence for a verbal disturbance. A mother and adult son began arguing about the son always being intoxicated. The son during the argument broke up his furniture.
June 25:
Traffic accident W/O injury: Responded to Turtleback Rd. business on a three parked vehicles involved in a private property accident. Officer assisted all involved drivers exchange insurance information.
Theft: Officer responded on a report of a stolen firearm. A report was completed an investigation is ongoing.
Stolen vehicle: Officer responded to a casino reference a stolen vehicle. A report was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Found property: Responded to a W. Pioneer Blvd. business regarding found property. I received a wallet containing cash, card and ID; will attempt to contact owner.
Property Damage, Non Vandalism: Responded to a report of Graffiti on a local structure. Photos taken and work order submitted.
Traffic accident W/O injury: Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles. One adult female was transported to Mesa View Hospital and treated for minor injuries. A report was completed.
Domestic violence: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino, One female adult was arrested for domestic battery.
June 26:
Theft: Officers responded to a Mesa Blvd. business in reference to a theft. The investigation is ongoing.
Burglary: Officers responded to a Haley Way residence on a report of a past burglary. The investigation is ongoing.
Dead body: Officers responded to a report of a dead body in an empty field. Officers spoke with
Animal bite: Officers responded to a Blackfoot St. residence in reference to a dog bite. The investigation is on-going.
June 27:
Burglary: Mesquite Officers responded to a Wild horse Ln. residence reference a report of burglary. Evidence was gathered and the case is ongoing.
June 28:
Traffic accident W/O injury: An officer responded to a parking lot of a casino, reference a hit and run accident that occurred four days prior. The registered owner of the vehicle was given a report umber for insurance purposes.
Theft: Mesquite Officers responded to a local store reference a petit larceny.
Minor possessing/consuming: Mesquite Police Officer initiated a consensual conversation with a juvenile who was later found in possession of alcoholic beverages.
Stolen vehicle: An officer responded to the reported theft of a camp trailer.
Wanted person: An officer took an adult female into custody for a local warrant.
Civil dispute: Mesquite Officer responded to a Mayan Ct. business reference a verbal dispute. Upon arrival both parties were separated.
Controlled substance problem: Officers responded to a residence where an adult mother located drug paraphernalia in her adult son’s bedroom. She requested officers dispose of the paraphernalia.
June 29:
Suspicious person: Officers observed a a male and female at a city park after hours and subsequently arrested the male for an outstanding warrant.
Vandalism: Mesquite Officer responded to a local convenient store reference graffiti.
DUI: Officers located a vehicle called in by a motorist for suspicious and odd driving behavior. Upon further investigation, officers placed the driver under arrest for DUI drugs (1st offense) and trafficking a controlled substance.
June 30:
Assault/Battery: Police responded to a Riverside Rd. complex reference a fight that occurred. Officers spoke to both people involved and neither of them wanted to press charges. A report was taken for documentation purposes.
Traffic Stop: An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle, for a traffic violation. The driver was taken into custody for a misdemeanor warrant and traffic violations.
Threatening: Officer responded to a residence reference a threat that was made via voicemail.
Trespassing: Officers responded to an E. Pioneer Blvd. casino reference a trespass violator. The male violator was issued a citation for trespassing, signed by a casino employee and released without further incident.
