Just after 3 A.M. Sunday, June 10th Mesquite Fire & Rescue responded to a multi vehicle fire that was also threatening a home.

Mutual aid was requested from Beaver Dam/Littlefield Fire District, and Clark County Fire Department Station 71. Initial reports placed the fire at a separate location than the actual incident causing a slight delay in response time.

On arrival fire crews found three vehicles engulfed in flames parked on the driveway in front of a single family home, with fire impinging onto the eaves. Crews began an offensive fire attack quickly knocking down the flames to both home, and vehicles. Operations were continued to verify complete extinguishment.

All three vehicles suffered extensive damage, while the home was saved with moderate damage to the front of the garage. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Mesquite Fire & Rescue would like to acknowledge the valiant efforts made by the homeowners and neighbors to make sure everyone was safely evacuated from the home!
