Mesquite Fire & Rescue would like to congratulate Firefighter/Paramedic Spencer Lewis on his promotion to Shift Captain!
Monday morning, March 12, 2018, Chief Jayson Andrus presented Captain Lewis with his new badge, followed by his parents pinning on his captain’s bars.
Chief Andrus stated, “I am excited to announce the promotion of FF/Paramedic Spencer Lewis to Captain. Captain Lewis has been with MFR for the past 11 years and brings a great attitude and a wealth of knowledge.”
Captain Lewis has been assigned to “B” Shift, where he will fill a vacancy created by the recent promotion of Deputy Chief Shawn Tobler. He will be responsible for “B” Shift’s leadership and direction.
