Chica was brought to the shelter when her owners moved and could not take her to their new home. She is a very small 2-3 year old Chihuahua. She is shy, gentle and quiet and loves to be held and cuddled. Chica does well walking on a leash. She prefers to be with people and just sitting and keeping you company.

All animals will be spayed or neutered prior to leaving shelter and receive 1 year rabies vaccination and city license. Ages are approximate. The City of Mesquite Animal Shelter located at 795 Hardy Way is open for adoptions from 11am until 1 pm, Monday through Saturday, Sunday 1pm -3pm. Les- Chihuahuas/Dachshund Dog was on his own since Dec 2016 . He needs a secure fenced yard.

Carl- Mini Schnauzer. He is currently having bandage changes on his leg and in foster care. Arrangements can made for you to meet Carl.

Licorice- 4 month old border collie mix. Found as a stray.



Cloud- Beautiful silver tabby. Shy but easily handled. Learning to play with toys. Nice boy he loves attention.

Honey Bear-Flame Point Siamese. Shy but very loving. Special diet. Quiet home and should be only cat. Loves attention
