On March 29, at approximately 1:00 P.M., a Mesquite Narcotics Detective observed a female driving through a parking lot that he recognized as a person who had an active felony warrant for her arrest. Detectives were also actively seeking the suspect regarding an active drug investigation. The detective conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and was able to safely take the suspect into custody. While searching the suspect during the arrest, the detective found a bag of crystal meth in her pocket.
The female was also the primary suspect in a separate criminal investigation involving sales and trafficking of meth into Mesquite. Detectives had already conducted a search warrant on a vehicle belonging to the suspect and had criminal charges pending, once she was located.
Jodi Moss, 46, of Las Vegas Nevada, was arrested and charged with: One felony count of possession of a controlled substance (meth), one felony count of trafficking a controlled substance (meth), one felony count of sales of a controlled substance (meth), and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Moss was also arrested on the felony probation violation warrant.
Due to the felony charges, Jodi Moss was transported and booked into the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas Nevada.
