The Mesquite Senior Center staff likes to keep folks in Mesquite active, happy and socializing. That is exactly what they accomplished for Mesquite residents on Friday, March 24 at the Hop.
Staff members spent hours getting things ready for residents to enjoy.
Senior center staff members served up old fashioned root beer floats and banana splits and the crowd enjoyed the tasty treats.
Many of the guests dressed for the occasion in white button down shirts and jeans, rolled up sleeves on the tee shirts and even some poodle skirts pulled out or made special for the occasion.
Senior center staff said it was a huge success and everyone loved the food, the dancing, the music and just having something different to do on a Friday night.
