“It turned out quite well,” said Dennis Lee with the Living Waters Fellowship of the third annual Harvest Festival, this time held at Hafen Park on Nov. 5.

Complete with four bouncy houses and 10 different games for children to partake in as well as food, Lee estimates that the event raised nearly $800 that will go back to benefit local veterans and youth organizations throughout Mesquite.

“We’re already thinking of what we can do for next year,” said Lee, stating that he is looking at possibly partnering with other organizations in town who are under-represented. “We are looking at some new ideas, some things that aren’t available here but that would be completely possible and benefit everyone.”
