His father, an operatic soloist, toured the United States and Europe. Both of them performed operatic arrangements and well-known arrangements from Camelot, Frank Sinatra, Elton John and the Blues Brothers. Wursten has been singing since the early age of four and was the Sterling Scholar winner in the performing arts in high school.

In Mesquite, Wursten is in high demand to sing in churches and in many community events and shows. He will be performing on Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. with the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra at the CasaBlanca Showroom singing the award winning song ‘The Impossible Dream’ from Man of La Mancha.

Wursten and his wife, Christie, are the proud parents of four children and live in Mesquite.
