With a festival atmosphere and public tours of its medical marijuana dispensary, Deep Roots Harvest celebrated its official grand opening Saturday, Oct. 22.
“We’ve had a steady stream of visitors all afternoon,” said Keith Capurro, CEO of Deep Roots Harvest, about the event that began at noon and ran until 6 p.m.
Visitors were allowed to tour the dispensary and view various products available for sale to those who hold a medical marijuana card officially issued by the state. Nevada law also allows sales of medical marijuana products to out-of-state cardholders but at lower amounts.
In the display cases were products designed to allay a variety of ailments and symptoms ranging from glaucoma to headaches and sleeplessness. Deep Roots employees were on hand to explain the use of the products and advise potential users on selecting appropriate solutions including edible products.
Outside, booths were set up for visitors to sign up to see a medical doctor for permission slips to obtain medical marijuana cards and forms people could use to submit their applications to the state for approval.
Interesting article and pictures, but where is this new business located?
For the vast majority of customers, it’s a way to get “high” legally.
