The Mesquite Community and Senior Center will be hosting a Western BBQ Dinner and Hoe-Down Friday, May 13. The event will be held from 4-6 p.m. bringing a night filled with line dancing and fun competitive games for all country enthusiast to enjoy.

Country music artist, Bill Clark, will be performing. Bill’s music reflects his love for the Lord, family, friends and Country. His inspiration comes from life experiences & people providing him with ideas which he then turns into songs. People share their dreams with Bill and he in return transforms those dreams into beautiful musical lyrics. His joy comes from people listening to his music and finding some comfort from life’s worries. Most of the songs performed by Bill have been written and composed by him.

“The event should be a blast,” said, Griseyda Belalcazar, Senior Center Supervisor. “We have a seed spitting contest, a competition for the biggest belt buckle and for the best western attire”, added Belalcazar. So, mosey on over in your western attire and join us for 2 hours of fun!
