Once again, Davis Amusement Cascadia will be bringing their equipment and crews to Mesquite for a week to ensure that all carnival attendees have a great time.

Several of the favorites will be returning, such as the 82′ tall Gondola Ferris Wheel and many of the rides that were brought in 2015.

Carnival hours will be Thursday, May 4 from 5-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday, May 8 at the old site for the Oasis Casino, 897 W Mesquite Blvd.

At the time of deadline, more than 27 vendors had signed up for a space at the carnival’s midway area.

There will also be live entertainment in the evenings and other events or performances at the stage in the carnival area.

Over 30 vendors should be present at this year's Mesquite Days event. Although the setup won't be on grass this year, the layout of the booths, rides and games should prove favorable for all involved. Photo by Stephanie Frehner.

The 82' Gondola Ferris Wheel will be back this year, bringing good times to the young and sending the older riders back to their youth, which is fitting with this year's theme, Back to the Future. Photo by Stephanie Frehner.
