April 12, 1909:  The weather kept cool and people are complaining of colds and croup.  Five-year-old, Vera Whittwer was quite sick with it.

April 12, 1909: The telephone company has poles, wire and insulators on hand to run the line to Beaver Dam and intend putting it in through the coming week.

April 12, 1909:  Teams are up working on the dam and improving the canal to get ready for Spring floods.

April 12, 1909:  A 10-pound baby boy came to the home of Edward I cox on April 12.  Everyone is doing well.
