Dear Editor,

I just read Terry Donnelly’s commentary, “Warts, battlescars, and all: Hillary is presidential.” I put the article down, poured a glass of wine and read the article again. It had not changed. Terry has a knack for using and slanting words to make someone look good in the shower, but I have a different view (no pun intended) of Hillary.

Terry mentions she was the first ever commencement speaker at Wellesley. She also attended classes under Saul Alinsky and wrote her thesis about Saul. For those of you not familiar with Saul Alinsky, he was a socialist/communist. Saul wrote about the “Levels of control” in creating a social state. The eight rules are: 1) Healthcare. Control healthcare and you control the people. 2) Poverty. Increase poverty as high as possible. Poor people are easier to control when you are providing everything for them. 3) Debt. Increase debt to an unsustainable level and increase taxes increasing more poverty. 4) Gun control. Remove the ability for individuals to defend themselves from the government so the government can create a police state. 5) Welfare. Take control of every aspect of their lives (food, housing and income). 6) Education. Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school. 7) Religion. Remove the belief in God from government and schools. 8) Class warfare. Divide the people into wealthy and poor. This will create discontent and make it easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor.

Do any readers see any of this happening today?

Terry mentions her work with families and children. While this is admirable, it is hardly qualification to lead the country as president. He mentioned her failed attempt and the operative word is FAILED at Hillarycare. Terry says this morphed into Obamacare and unless you are on a subsidy, Obamacare is also a failure. The argument is that 18 million more are being insured. Out of 300 million, that is a small number. It would have been easier and cheaper just to provide healthcare through a medicare program for the 18 million and leave the healthcare alone for the 282 other million.

Terry justified her relationship with the banking system on Wall Street. No comment. You make up your own mind on that subject.

Terry closed with Benghazi and emails. He said she wasn’t a liar, but tell that to the relatives of those who lost a loved one at Benghazi. Hillary claimed it was a film that caused the terrorist attack when she knew that was not accurate. As for the emails, Terry has never handled classified information so for him to say she did not commit a crime is a little premature. As a retired Colonel in the Air Force, I personally handled a lot of classified material. It is classified to protect national security. You do not put that kind of information on a private server. Many have paid dearly for mishandling classified information. But, I forgot. Even though no executive is too big not to be put on jail, she obviously is. The Clinton machine and the democratic administration will protect her.

In closing, yes Hillary has checked off all the squares to become president, but filling squares does not make one presidential. It is what you accomplish when you are filling those squares that counts.
