Come join the fun when Virgin Valley Elementary School (VVES) hosts the annual Nevada Moves Day celebration on Wednesday, March 16 in partnership with the City of Mesquite Athletics & Leisure Services Department.  Walking or bicycling with your child to school is a great way to help children learn and practice safe walking and biking skills, promote health, identify safer walking routes, and improve air quality.  There’s not a better way to start your day.

If you do have to drive that day, consider parking a block away at the Mesquite Recreation Center and walking the remainder of the way to school.  The City of Mesquite Recreation Center back parking lot is available for those of you with car pools.  Groups of students can be dropped off and then safely walk a block together to school. Times will be from 8:30 to 8:55 a.m.

We hope to see you all walking or riding on the morning of Wednesday, March 16.
