September 30, 1911: Big Flood down the river; washed out the dam and part of the ditch. Water did not return until December 6.
September 25, 1920: Charles and Bertha Howe marry. They met in Germantown, Ohio and were married 5 weeks later.
September, 1946: Harley’s Garage opens.
September 25, 1970: Charles and Bertha Howe celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, with several hundred guests from the community. A well respected couple in the community Bertha was the nurse in charge at the local hospital which is now the museum.
