On Tuesday September 1 at noon, Peggy Pope and Becky Hoff will speak on the Art of Self Defense at the Mesquite Fine Arts Gallery.  Pope and Hoff are cofounders of the Women’s Defensive Weaponry Club of Mesquite, an organization to help women with the use and care of a pistol,  target practice,  personal awareness development, self defense and  empowerment.  The club offers classes and more information is available on the website www.womensdefensiveweaponry.org.
