Sandy was born April 8, 1942 in Pottsville, PA, but grew up in Newark, DE. After graduating from Newark High School, Sandy married Ernie Abrams. They moved all over the country, living in; Northeast, MD; West Palm Beach, FL; Glenwood Springs, CO; and finally Mesquite, NV. Sandy worked many years helping the disabled, but she spent much of her time taking care of her home. She also enjoyed traveling by road with her husband, traveling many of the highways and back-roads of the US. Even though she enjoyed being on the road, she enjoyed most the time she spent with her family, her two sons, Ernie and Eric, and their families. She was the center of the family in many ways. Sandy enjoyed the people around her; not only for good conversation, but also for the chances she had to serve them. She had a big heart and would find even the smallest ways of helping others, as “she would always take the smallest piece of pie”. Sandy was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and it was a foundation for her and her family.

Sandy Ann Abrams was survived by her husband, Ernie Smith Abrams III of Mesquite, NV; her two sons, Ernie (Letty) S. Abrams IV of Boynton Beach, FL and Eric (Erika) S. Abrams of Highland, CA; her three grandchildren, Leah Shade, Jaden Abrams, and Brandon Abrams; one great-granddaughter, Amelia Shade; and her sister, Dolly Moore of Parachute, CO.
